Aurora Energy (Tamar Valley) Pty Ltd – AETV PowerAurora Energy (Tamar Valley) Pty Ltd (trading as AETV Power) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurora Energy. AETV Power was acquired in August 2008 for the construction and operation of the Tamar Valley Power Station. The plant is five kilometres south of George Town in the state’s largest heavy industrial precinct. The plant supports a more competitive generation market and improves energy security for Tasmania due to its use of gas instead of hydro generation.
