Structure of the business
Aurora is led by our CEO, Peter Davis. Our activities are coordinated by the Aurora Management Team, which is made up of leaders from each of the divisions. Aurora consists of the following six business divisions:
Aurora Retail is responsible for electricity sales, account and case management, retail alliances, marketing, advertising and promotion, billing and complaints handling, call centre services, quality assurance, energy purchasing and trading, and business support.
Aurora Network is responsible for the management and development of distribution assets including poles, lines and substations, asset stewardship, works management including arranging contracts and service agreements for carrying out construction, operations and maintenance activities.
Network Services provides maintenance and construction services on the distribution system. The division oversees the distribution resource and response centres, distribution live line crews, stores and logistics, works planning, and works delivery. This division is also responsible for the management of customer connections, meter reading, the Aurora training centre, transmission capabilities and the standards and compliance group, which includes the electrical inspection team.
New Ventures has the challenge of identifying and prioritising opportunities for growth and the establishment of new lines of business.
Commercial Services Division The functions of Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, Information Services, Energy Risk Management, Treasury and Finance are brought together under the single banner of Commercial Services.
Strategy and Corporate Affairs The Strategy and Corporate Affairs Division is focused on the significant strategic issues and stakeholder challenges confronting Aurora in the competitive environment, including strategy and market development, national market entry, and government and community relations.
Aurora also has a fully owned subsidiary company, EziKey Group Pty Ltd.
