Tasmanian Tranche 4

Tranche 4 businesses must enter a contract for their electricity supply by 1 July 2010. Call Aurora for a quote today on 1300 13 2045.

Tranche 4 Tasmanian business customers are those that spend between $25,000 and $80,000 on electricity at one site per year. This includes restaurants, hotels, offices, schools, farmers and nursing homes.

Tranche 4 was introduced in July 2009 under the Tasmanian Government’s ‘contestability’ system. Contestability offers an open and competitive market for Tasmanian business customers that moves away from a tariff structure.

This means that, as a Tranche 4 business, your electricity supply is now based on the national electricity market and you are required to enter a market contract with a licensed supplier.

Aurora is a reliable, long term Tasmanian electricity supplier, and we are committed to establishing an optimum outcome for your business during this market change.
