Aurora Energy has today announced the recipients of its most recent Community Grants round.
The successful applicants were Strike It Out, The Salvation Army, Community Response to Eliminating Suicide (CORES) Burnie/Wynyard Community Network, Bravehearts Foundation, Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House and Surf Life Saving Tasmania.
The grants, of up to $5,000, will assist to deliver projects or programs that make a difference in the lives of vulnerable Tasmanians.
Aurora Energy CEO Rebecca Kardos congratulated the six recipients of the grants program for their hard work and dedication to enrich the Tasmanian community.
“We are committed to assisting Tasmanians both directly and indirectly to help reduce disadvantage and build capability, capacity and importantly connections in our communities,” Mrs Kardos said.
“We actively seek to support projects and programs right across the state that foster inclusion and contribute to making Tasmania a great place to live. All of the successful applicants demonstrated that their initiative will achieve exactly that.”
