Mr Ingham said the focus will remain on ensuring energy supply for all customers, with preference given to those needing a connection.
During this time, customers may experience longer than normal wait times.
“Please be assured that we’re working through the impacts of all issues related to the COVID-19 situation and we'll update customers as quickly as possible on all new developments,” Mr Ingham said.
