Aurora Energy is committed to continuing to provide the best possible service and support to all of its customers during these challenging times.

“As we deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 virus, we remain committed to giving customers our best,” Acting CEO Kane Ingham said.

“We are also doing all we can to keep our employees safe. The health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and the Tasmanian community is our number one priority.

“We stand alongside our 280,000 residential and business customers, and are working on new ways to help them through these tough times.”

Mr Ingham said the focus will remain on ensuring energy supply for all customers, with preference given to those needing a connection.

During this time, customers may experience longer than normal wait times.

“Please be assured that we’re working through the impacts of all issues related to the COVID-19 situation and we'll update customers as quickly as possible on all new developments,” Mr Ingham said.

Aurora will continue to work closely with and follow the advice of the Tasmanian Government and relevant health authorities.
