Standard electricity rates and charges

Typically, residential homes use Tariff 31 for light and power and Tariff 41 for hot water. There is also Tariff 42, which is the Aurora Heating DIscount, available to customers who have a minimum output of 3.5kW in the main living area. We also offer OffPeak tariffs. You can check your bill to find out exactly what tariffs you are on. The current prices for these tariffs are detailed on the following pages.

We also have rates for AuroraGreen, which is an environmentally friendly option accredited by GreenPower, and Aurora PAY AS YOU GO, our prepaid electricity option.
