Double the Plus – Cancer Council Tasmania

Published on

Cancer Council Tasmania has been providing free, trusted information and support for nearly 25 years. On average, over nine Tasmanians are diagnosed with cancer each day – making Cancer Council's work in Tasmania vital to the health of the community.

Cancer Council provides high-quality support services for people with cancer, their families, carers, and friends. They invest in cancer prevention programs that educate the community about lifestyle factors that can decrease their cancer risk and provide a respected voice for the needs of people affected by cancer.

Through various programs like mindfulness, Tai Chi, Bowen massage, and by offering a wide variety of wigs in their state-wide wig library, Cancer Council provides patients and families with a holistic support system.

A donation to Cancer Council Tasmania is a donation that will go toward making a difference in the life of all those affected by cancer.
