Mary O'Kane AC (Chair)

Mary was appointed Chair of Aurora Energy on 29 November 2018 and is a member of Aurora Energy’s Board Appointments and Remuneration Committee and Board Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.

Keryn Nylander

Tasmanian born and educated, Keryn has worked in the Tasmanian media industry for three decades both as a communications professional and award-winning journalist. She is a former State political reporter for both print and electronic media before rising to be the Head of News for WIN Television Tasmania – the first female for the network in Australia. 

Janine Healey

Janine was appointed to the Board of Aurora Energy in November 2022 and has a deep understanding of corporate governance in state-owned corporations, particularly in roles at Hydro Tasmania and now TasRail, and has fulfilled directorship roles for more than 20 years.

Rhys Edwards

Rhys was appointed as a director of Aurora Energy on 25 November 2022. He has a strong background in governance, energy policy, leadership, major project facilitation, social policy and economic development. 

Kellie Benda

Kellie Benda was appointed to Aurora Energy's Board of directors in November 2023. Kellie has a background in law and investment banking, and has a deep understanding of the energy sector having held various senior executive positions at AGL and Origin Energy.

Chief Executive Officer - Nigel Clark

Nigel Clark was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Energy in October 2022. 

Nigel has more than two decades' energy sector experience across the financial, strategic and operational roles.

Chief People Officer - Nicole Hunt

Nic joined the Aurora Energy team in 2020 and as the Chief People Officer, leads the people strategy, culture and workplace ambitions to enable Aurora Energy to realise their purpose, vision and strategy. 

Chief Financial Officer – James Chisholm

James leads the Commercial Services business unit which covers a number of portfolios including Strategy and Commercial Analysis, Commercial and Industrial Customers, Finance and Middle Office.

Company Secretary/General Counsel – Oliver Cousland

Oliver joined Aurora Energy in 2014 and is responsible for leading the Governance business unit. A lawyer with over 15 years experience he has a Bachelor of Commerce and Law and is a Graduate of the Australian of Company Directors. 

Chief Digital Officer - Andrew Crozier

Andrew joined Aurora Energy in October 2019 to lead the Aurora+ business unit. As the accountable executive for this space, Andrew is tasked with supporting his team in the reimagination of the energy experience for all Tasmanians. 

Chief Operating Officer - Alistair Burke

Alistair joined Aurora Energy in 2016 and is responsible for leading the Customer Success team, encompassing frontline customer operations, credit management, business improvement, resource planning and reporting, customer advocacy and metering delivery.
