Chief Digital Transformation Officer - Alistair Burke

Alistair joined Aurora Energy in 2016 and leads the Digital Transformation and Operations business unit, responsible for driving digital strategy, transformation, and technical innovation activities within Aurora Energy. This includes digital strategy and delivery, core technology operations, data management and cyber security.

Previously serving as Aurora Energy’s Chief Operating Officer, Alistair brings a wealth of senior leadership experience to the role, including a strong understanding of our customers’ needs and expectations.

Alistair has a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Graduate of the Tasmanian Leaders Program. He's worked in senior governance and operational leadership roles in both public and commercial environments across multiple jurisdictions.

A born and bred Tasmanian, having grown up on Hobart’s Eastern Shore and completing his studies at the University of Tasmania, Alistair is a proud and passionate Tasmanian and is committed to supporting customers and the community through tailored and trusted service. Alistair is involved in various community and local sporting organisations, and when not at work or spending time with his young family can usually be found watching or taking part in some form of sporting activity.
