Chief People Officer - Nicole Hunt

Nic joined the Aurora Energy team in 2020 and as the Chief People Officer, leads the people strategy, culture and workplace ambitions to enable Aurora Energy to realise their purpose, vision and strategy. The function is accountable for internal communications, operational capability, organisational development, occupational health, safety and wellbeing and delivery of the core HR services across the organisation.

With over 16 years’ experience in human resources functions across a range of industries including telecommunications, children and education services and energy, Nic’s voice shapes and informs Aurora’s people direction.

During her time before, and with Aurora Energy, Nic has delivered multiple enterprise agreements through building a strong foundation of collaboration across teams. She has also  formed significant change and transformation programs to create improved outcomes for our employees. Nic’s leadership style drives improved outcomes for internal and external customers by creating, and leveraging, high-performing, diverse teams.
