There is a lot of information on your bill, including different rates, charges, and fees. Understanding what it all means can be helpful when you're finding ways to save on your bill.

This part of your bill shows your usage and supply charges for each tariff connected at your property. 

Daily Supply Charge (Supply Service Charge) relates to the daily amount you're charged to have the power connected. It includes charges for:

  • Network charges: maintaining the network poles and wires.

  • Aurora Energy costs: to provide service and support to Aurora Energy customers.

  • Market charges: the fees everyone pays to be part of the National Energy Market (NEM).

  • Metering: installing, maintaining, and reading electricity meters.

Energy Charge relates to the cost per kWh (your usage).
