Kane was appointed Chief Operating Officer in November 2020 and leads the Customer Success business unit which is responsible for the delivery of the segmented end-to-end customer experience to complement our products. This includes responsibility for the key customer touchpoints of connections, billing, payments, market interactions, inbound and outbound contacts, large customer sales and account management, energy purchasing, collections, and supporting vulnerable customers (via our Your Energy Support (YES) Program).
This business model enables the focus to be on the provision of a consistent application of customer service standards and keeps customers at the heart of everything we do.
Kane joined Aurora Energy in 2008 and has experience across a range of areas including finance, strategy, and project management. Kane holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Governance Institute of Australia. Kane is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
