Support for flood-affected customers

Aurora Energy has today reassured its customers affected by the flooding across the north and north-west of the state that support is available if they need it.

The energy retailer has an enhanced Customer Support Fund to help anyone experiencing financial vulnerability, which will be extended to include flood victims.

The Customer Support Fund can assist with things like bill relief, waiving fees and charges, freezing debts, payment plans, and more.

Aurora also has a range of flexible payment options and tailored support through its nation-leading Your Energy Support (YES) program.

“As Tasmania’s 100 per cent owned and operated energy retailer, we genuinely care about our customers and we’re committed to doing what we can to help those affected by the floods because it’s our community and we’re invested in it,” Aurora CEO Rebecca Kardos said.

“Supporting each other is an integral part of what it is to be Tasmanian and it's why we are so proud to be a part of the Tasmanian community.”

Any customers that need an extra hand are encouraged to contact Aurora (Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm) on 1300 13 2003 or visit auroraenergy.com.au/aurora-support
