What is the Home Electrification Tool?

Aurora Energy has partnered with BOOM! Power to bring you the Home Electrification Tool. This is an online tool that recommends the best electrification upgrades for your home, such as solar, batteries, or energy efficient hot water, based on your responses.

You will then be shown available upgrades for your home, with a cost estimate based on the information you provided, as well as a list of BOOM! Power's trusted installers in your area. These installers go through a rigorous vetting process to ensure they meet BOOM! Power's standards for quality, safety, and customer service.

How does it work?

You will be asked to answer a few questions about your home and heating, which will then provide upgrade options based off the information you selected. If you request to go through with a quote, your information is then securely shared with the accredited installer you choose. They'll then contact you to discuss next steps and provide more detail on the quote.

How much does the Home Electrification Tool cost?

The tool is completely free to use, you will be provided with a detailed quote.

How long does it take?

Filling out the form generally takes 5–10 minutes. After you submit your details to an installer, you can expect to hear from them within 2–5 business days.

I'm not an Aurora Energy customer, can I still use it?

Yes. The tool is available to all Tasmanians.
