Chief Operating Officer - Alistair Burke

Alistair joined Aurora Energy in 2016 and is responsible for leading the Customer Success team, encompassing frontline customer operations, credit management, business improvement, resource planning and reporting, customer advocacy and metering delivery. Prior to this, Alistair led Aurora Energy’s Legal, Risk and Compliance team responsible for legal services, risk and compliance, internal audit, procurement, regulatory and policy.

Alistair has a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws, is a Graduate of the Australian of Company Directors and a Graduate of the Tasmanian Leaders Program. He's worked across senior leadership roles in both public administration and commercial environments across multiple jurisdictions.

Born and bred Tasmanian, having grown up on Hobart’s Eastern Shore and completing his studies at the University of Tasmania, Alistair is a proud and passionate Tasmanian and is committed to supporting customers and providing a reliable, tailored and trusted service for all Tasmanians. Alistair is involved in various community and local sporting organisations, and when not at work or spending time with his young family can usually be found watching or taking part in some form of sporting activity.
