Sign Up for aurora+

Sign up through the app

  1. Download aurora+ to your phone or tablet. You can sign up by downloading the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Just search "aurora".
  2. Select 'Sign me up'
  3. Follow the prompts to sign up for either a Residential or Business Aurora Energy account.

What do I need to sign up for aurora+?

Advanced Meter

aurora+ uses the data from an advanced meter to display your usage and account. It's ok if you don't know what type of meter you have. During the sign-up process, we will let you know if we need to upgrade your meter or change your account to a viable tariff for aurora+. Even if you are renting, you can get your meter upgraded - See our 'aurora+ and renting' page

Aurora Energy Account

aurora+ is the digital way to manage your Aurora Energy account. If you don't yet have an Aurora Energy account, please use our New Connection form to get started, and request aurora+ during the process. 

Email Address

aurora+ uses an email address as your log in id. You will also need an email address to receive confirmation communication from us. 


What happens during the sign up process?

We will send you an email to confirm that you have completed the sign up process.

If you already have an advanced meter and you've taken the next step and signed up for aurora+, it can take up to 10 days as your data is connected and passed through the energy market.

If you need to have your meter upgraded to an advanced meter, we will start that process - See our 'Getting a new meter installed' page

When your data is ready to view, you will receive an email to set up your password (if you have not already done so) and to log in to aurora+ for the first time.
